Lam Duo

Having played and performed together occasionally for their whole lives, Jason and his twin brother, Matt have only decided to form a professional duo recently. They have been active in each year's Chamber Music Festival and Piano Day at the RNCM. In 2019, they have won the RNCM Piano Duo Prize and 2nd prize in the Two Piano section of the 29th Roma International Piano Competition. They are also keen promoters of music outside of the existing piano duo repertoire and have been performing their own arrangements, from film soundtracks to Mahler's 10th Symphony. Their new arrangement of Haydn's Symphony No. 96 "The Miracle" for two pianos was premiered in this year's RNCM Chamber Music Festival.

They have had coachings with pianists such as Ashley Wass, Jeremy Young, Helen Krizos and Paul Janes. Their performances include final concert of the season for Manchester Chamber Concerts Society, Chester Music Festival, among others.
